Rochester Moving & Storage

I just want to thank Rochester, moving and storage for a job well done. On April 18th the guys packed up their 26 foot truck with all of my belongings. Everything arrived in good shape, and in record time. Having more guys to move, made the experience quick and painless. Thank you David, and your cr...

This is a great moving company. Not only once, but twice for us. They are very considerate and called the prior day to confirm arrival and details. About 6-7 people show up and they just start hauling the stuff into the truck. The movers are respectful to the items and to each other and to the custo...

Honest review! We were getting ready to sell our 3bd home (lived there for 10yrs) and move into a 2bd apartment during the listing/closing process. Dave truly is one of the kindest people I’ve ever met. The entire process had me anxious, overwhelmed and emotional and he and his crew were the one thi...

Service was very professional and they made our office move day an easy experience. The only moving business owner, who actually came to the site few weeks before the move to see our space. Eventhough, we had to reschedule move day a few days before, the owner was still able to give us service. They...

Dave and his team were amazing! Dave was super accommodating and fit my move in with short notice! Everything was brought to my new home in pristine and great condition. The workers were super nice despite working on such a hot and steamy day. I could not recommend Rochester Moving and Storage Enoug...

I had a wonderful move!. Seven men came and Dave the owner. Tim was clearly in charge, and they were so kind, neat and polite, and work together It was a very efficient move. My two bedroom apartment was loaded on to the truck in one hour flat. They wrapped my furniture in plastic and werevery caref...

We had a great experience with the whole team at Rochester Moving and Storage. They were recommended by a friend for a local move from our home into a townhouse. The move was very efficient and everyone was very friendly and attentive. Could not have asked for better service!

Tim and Co were great for our in town moving job. Came in with a team of 7 on time and were done very close to the estimate given. Best part was the estimate was done in person within days of our initial contact. Would recommend. Pleasant, polite and efficient.

I used the all lady packing team to pack up my home and unpack at my new home. All the ladies were friendly and it was a pleasure working with them. I had no problems with anything missing or broken. I highly recommend Rochester Moving and Storage’s all lady packing team. I was highly impressed with...

We moved about a month ago across town and couldn't be more pleased with the guys. One guy didn't show up that was expected to be there, but they didn't miss a beat and the cost was reduced due to 1 less guy. They were efficient, friendly and worked great as a team. Tim was very organized in the pac...

I cannot possibly say enough about this organization, and its crew. I had an immediate need, and called on a Tuesday. Part 1 of my move happened the next day, and part 2 three days after that. The 8 man crew was fast, efficient ... as careful as can be with my items. This crew will get my move busin...

Our family used Rochester Moving and Storage to move across state this past summer. Dave came out and gave us fair estimate and was easy to work with on a moving date when our closing was pushed back. The team showed up on time and finished early. They were hard working, respectful of our property,...

An awful experience. The owner gave me a low quote and then grossly overcharged me. Lots of pressure over payment terms and lots of damaged furniture. Keep looking!

Moving can be a very stressful experience and if you're in a city where you don't know anyone, or aren't familiar with it, it can be d daunting. Dave gave me a fair estimate price for packing and moving. He helped me figuring out a storage facility (size, proximity to avoid increase in cost, as well...

I just read the review from Kelly G. I can't believe we have a similar story about Rochester Moving and Storage. As I agree, Dave Conkey was pleasant to talk with. The move and my organizational skills couldn't have made for an easier job. Dave came in with a very reasonable estimate. When they were...

We ourselves are a licensed moving company. During the summer there are more than a few smaller jobs that we cannot complete in the Rochester area because I refuse to over book our days. Most moving companies will over book each day, and if someone does not cancel then there will be a customer out...

I had a number of awkward moves to complete in the past 2yrs and have used Dave for all 4 of them. Unlike the reviewer above, I found his estimates fantastically reasonable and we were billed exactly as quoted. The moving team is great and "fast as all get out," without being reckless. My husband an...

While this is a long review, I feel it is important to let people know the full story of the move that we just endured. Dave Conkey took a day that should have been made simple by our hiring his service, and turned it into a day from hell for my family and I. Dave came for the estimate appointment...
