Murphy Moving & Storage

Sales estimator and move coordinator were unresponsive and disingenuous with our packing pricing. We feel we overcharged because they did not respond to our questions about the packing process. We were overcharged 1500-2000 as we did the work and they never got back to us on the changes we requested...

Moving with Clancy is the way to go! Alyssa made the admin go smoothly. Ricardo and Junior arrived promptly at 8am, worked efficiently and got everything packed and unpacked in record time. They moved our one bedroom apartment into a 2 bedroom house with ease, even in 90 degree weather. I have nothi...

I had from one location, deliveries to multiple locations and in different towns. Could have become complicated. Very smooth move. Had several ‘special care’ items that were delivered without a problem. Thank you to the ‘Michael Silva’ team.

We just moved in with Richard and his team. All were very professional and courteous. Did an outstanding job! I can’t recommend them enough!

Our mover Jose Luciano was great. Helpful above and beyond. Set up furniture and moved pieces to several different places. Highly recommend

Fast, efficient, and flexible with items that were not fully packed. Considerate of all packages, treating each as if they were fragile. Jose Luciano who was lead our delivery day communicated on all packages where there was any questions of location and lastly was flexible with moving items that ha...

Ricardo and his team did an amazing job moving us. They worked incredibly hard and were a delight to work with. In addition, they were respectful of our things and our home. While I hope to never move again I know who I would ask for help.

Ricardo and crew were fantastic! It was a smooth move for our one bedroom apartment from New York to Connecticut. Courteous, careful with items and diligent work got the move done in record time. Thanks Clancy!

First met Mark who came to my house to do the evaluation of what was moving. Great guy. Very communicative and always answered my call and email. Then met Todd, again very communicative and always following up on my move. Todd was always in contact with me throughout the move. If you are thinki...

Marcelo and the team were great—very professional, quick, and easy to work with. Everything was handled carefully and the whole process was smooth from start to finish. Really appreciated how efficient they were. Would definitely recommend!

So far I only had the sales woman come in for a quote. She acted like I was working for her! I was told her guys would not go into my attic without a full floor. I asked then how my boxes would get down-she said to do it myself! What! That's why I hired movers. She said if her guys saw mold or milde...

Murphy Movers' sales pitch rested heavily on their reputation for careful treatment of the possessions they move. In fact, during my recent cross-country move, they broke two legs of my pool table, scratched the surface of my wood dining table, lost two of the knobs of my bureau, and broke a part of...

Murphy Moving was wonderful! Setting up the move was easy. The movers were right on time and handled my delicate antiques with great care. This was a small move of a few cherished family items. I will definitely call Murphy for my next move.

I contacted Murphy Movers to take my belongings from my home, put everything into storage for approximately 10 months and then once my house was built, move me into my new home. First, I was given one estimate but because my move was delayed, I had to have another estimate done, which of course was...

Had a great experience with Murphy Moving right from the people handling all my information on the phone, answering all my questions, and keeping me updated throughout my move. I could not recommend these movers enough, they handled my items as if they were their own. Murphy Moving made which should...

If I could give them more than 5-stars I would!!! Incredible experience from start to finish. Mayflower/Murphy Moving and Storage was referred to us by our real estate agent. It was easy to make an appt and Len Coleman was the most helpful moving consultant I met with (and I met with a lot). He...

Punctual and a pleasure to work with! They also were able to help us with less than 24 hours notice. Huge plus. I will definitely use them again.

I have a mixed review. I thought they were fast and took the time to wrap everything in blankets and then plastic wrap so things stayed wrapped. I didn't take extra insurance because of the extra care they took. I found out a few days later after undoing everything that my sons headboard is a mess...

I contacted John C. Murphy Moving & Storage Inc. last week to come out and give me an estimate on a local move. When I spoke with Geraldine (who was actually nice) she said that someone could come out either Saturday (3/29/14) or Sunday (3/30/14) to meet with me and give an estimate. I have a rather...
