Movers Not Shakers INC

I am so glad I picked MNS for my recent move! Jean and his team arrived on time (even a little early), and quickly and efficiently loaded up all my bins (from MNS) and furniture. They then unloaded the truck in no time, and set up my bed and furniture. All of the guys were so nice and polite, and th...

The team was awesome, quick, courteous and careful with my furniture. For a two bedroom move across boroughs, the guys took less than four hours; Gene, Jay and another gentleman whose name I did not get. They were local, affordable and HIGHLY recommended.

I can’t recommend Jean and John from Movers and Shakers highly enough! From start to finish, they were professional, efficient, and incredibly kind. They handled everything with such care and made what could have been a stressful day feel smooth and even fun. They worked seamlessly as a team, commun...

Couldn't be happier with the crew at MNS! The team was effortlessly able to co-ordinate 2 big moves (from different locations) and deliver to our new apartment in a matter of a few hours. Super quick, efficient, thoughtful and friendly, and where also able to accommodate for additional changes to ou...

We contacted Matt from Movers Not Shakers to get an estimate for an out-of-state move. When he said he would do it via Zoom, rather than coming to our house in person, we were a little bit skeptical. He “toured” our house virtually and within about 24 hours, he gave us a flat rate estimate for our m...

Greg, Bekzod and team were so friendly, helpful, efficient and professional. They arrived promptly, expertly wrapped my armoire, transported it from NYC to NJ and even helped my mom when they got to NJ to make space for the armoire. I was dreading this move and they made it easy peasy. I highly reco...

Fantastic experience with movers and shakers. They helped us move from a 4th floor walkup to a 5th floor walkup, which is a brutal job. The work was done promptly and everyone was super pleasant. Highly recommend for your moving needs!

They made everything smooth and stress-free. Before moving day, they answered all my questions quickly and made sure I felt prepared. Highl...

Everyone at MNS was so professional and easy to work with. Matt S did my initial walk through for a quote and I immediately felt at ease with him and his knowledge. We did a full packing service too and the team that did it was wildly efficient. They were lead by Max, who was amazing. They had our e...

Had a great experience with my movers - Shawn, Anthony and Chris. They did a great job moving my stuff into a place with a tight stairwell and were very nice and respectful. Would definitely recommend these guys specifically.

Greg and his team are awesome. My buddy has moved with them 4 x and he recommended this crew. We moved a 2Br apartment from UWS to a 4br house in Astoria, we had a team of 7 movers who were fast, efficient, very careful on every side of the move. We ordered 50bins in advance as well which made every...

This is the third time I've used Movers Not Shakers - twice for local moves in NYC and once for a long distance move. Each time, the movers and office staff have been incredibly professional. My moves have been quite smooth and I found their rates to be fairly reasonable.

I wish I could give you 10 stars on this review. My cousin's out of state move went stellar. I referred her because I knew you'd take super care of her particularly with personal needs requiring added sensitivity. She received the attention and respect she deserves from each person who helped her. V...

We used "Movers, Not Shakers" to pack, wrap, stack and arrange our furniture prior to a kitchen and bathroom renovation. They were fantastic! Vanessa came by to assess the job and gave us a fair estimate. The crew -Danny, Paul. Misha and Curtis- couldn't have been nicer and took extra care in making...

I was referred to Movers, Not Shakers by a friend of mine who had a good experience with them recently. Prior to the move: The management office was very responsive and informative throughout the process. They provided me with a certificate of insurance in less than 48 hours and there were no hidde...

After years of penny-pinching and moving myself, I finally decided to hire professional movers. And, boy am I happy that I chose Movers, Not Shakers! The pricing was better that most other movers quoted and there were no hidden fees. That is, my quoted flat fee included the truck and three movers fo...

Thoroughly impressed in every way! They were able to squeeze me in last minute for a great price. The two movers worked swiftly and carefully. I couldn't believe what they were able to accomplish in two hours. I highly recommend them.

I am usually far too lazy to review companies I happen to do business with. I even neglect great restaurants and I'm an obsessive eater. But I have to shout these guys out for being an incredibly safe, pleasant, and effective service. I just moved a ton of crap from Queens to Brooklyn and the MNS c...

I moved middle of May 2015. Everyone was excellent and professional. Matthew did the estimate. He was quick and nice. The estimate was fair and reasonable. Later, they lowered it when I told them about lower estimates I received. The movers packed everything extremely carefully. And they worked very...

These guys were GREAT! I wanted a solution that could deliver eco-friendly bins and wardrobe boxes as well as the move and they offered a price that beat all of the other estimates without bins! Bins came one week early as promised and the crew arrived on time (with a warning call they may be late d...
