Metropolis Moving INC

Recently moved from Manhattan to NJ. Obtaining a quote by working with Corey and Barry confirming the appointment details was quick, transparent, honest, and easy. Hired for packing and moving services. The day of packing Eddie, John, and Tommy showed up and did incredible work. They are great guys...

I had an amazing and stress-free move from NYC to Philly. The office and sales team were incredibly responsive and easy to work with throughout the process. My movers, Jack and Jon, were fantastic—quick, efficient, and genuinely kind. Forest and Marshall also helped with packing and did a great job....

Best moving company in the NY/CT area. Corey, the owner, is amazing, communicative, and really knows how to run a business. The movers are amazing and handle your belongings with care. Shout out to Eddie who’s now moved us twice and is so sweet. Highly recommend Metropolis if you’re moving in the NY...

We've had a fantastic experience with Metropolis Moving! Not only did they take on unusual request to move 5 surfboards from NYC to MA, but they were professional, on time, trouble-shooted problems and reasonable in terms of costs. We whole-heartedly agree with the other positive reviews. If we e...

Metropolis was the best! Eddie, Tommy and Jon were friendly, super efficient and thorough. I would highly recommend them to anyone who is going through a small or big move!

Metropolis Moving was very professional. I would certainly use them again. Shout out to Bryan and Erik for making the process less stressful.

Really efficient/effective move from Astoria to LIC. Zach, Kennisa, and Jake did the move and were all extremely polite, careful, and made the whole process very relaxed. Would recommend!

Tommy K, Ryan G, Cristian M. took amazing care of me and my things. They carefully moved all my boxes and furniture and were so professional and nice. In my view, this is the best moving company in the area. Not the cheapest, but the quality is unmatched.

I used Metropolis Moving for my move from Maryland to Brooklyn, and overall the experience was positive. The company was responsive and organized from the beginning, and the move itself was handled efficiently. My items were wrapped properly, everything arrived safely, and the overall coordination...

They were amazing! They moved us from Brooklyn to Manhattan and made the move so easy! Dawson, Ricky and Brian were all amazing. I would give 6 stars if I could. Highly recommend using Metropolis for your next move

This is our 3rd move with Metropolis! I’ve said it before and I’ll keep saying it (especially after this move) - I will never move without Metropolis. They are INCREDIBLE. We had a complicated move- we needed two trucks, the trucks needed to be held overnight, my husband had woodworking supplies and...

We used Metropolis Moving to move from the Hudson Valley in New York to the DC area. They did an amazing job. They were quick, efficient, fairly priced, and kept all our items safe. Could not recommend them more! We worked with Ryan, Eddie, and Tommy - highly, highly recommend them all!

We chose Metropolis for our move back to NYC from downtown Chicago based on a strong recommendation and because they are NYC based and know the place. We are very happy with the move and glad we chose Metropolis to move us. Choosing Metropolis Moving was one of the best decisions I have made. Metropolis was receptive and responsive to my inquiry and concerns. They provided me with a quote customized to meet my moving needs. Corey and Barry were great at providing me with all the information I needed and would follow-up...

I hired Metropolis for a move and paid for packing and unpacking services because I'm recovering from an injury. The hourly packing/unpacking and flat-rate moving tasks ended up being mixed together, which seemed to result in a final cost significantly higher than the original quote, even though no...

Highly highly recommend! Swift, easy, personable, quick replies via email. Overall, EXTREMELY satisfied with everyone and the move they helped us with.

I only have excellent things to say about Metropolis Moving. I moved locally from one spot in Williamsburg, NYC to another, and had a phenomenal experience. The only thing I would point out that I would like have liked to be mentioned earlier is that there is a 3% fee that covers the payment process...

We had two drop-offs, one at a storage unit in East Flatbush and the other was within the neighborhood of Canarsie. The entire move...
