Hired Hands Moving Company

These guys are studs. One of the movers started bicep curling my piano while carrying it to the truck solo. I hear they have very sexy managers as well. 10/10 would move again.

Hired Hands was the perfect choice for my cross-state move. Luke was great for scheduling and John and Mason were efficient, careful, and thoughtful during the move. Very professional service! Highly recommend them!

Best experience ever! A young man named Rory was able help me move my furniture around my new home as I recently had a major surgery. Very polite and cute staff!

Our movers were such great young men. Hard workers on a hot humid rainy day. They were helping to move my 86 year old mother into an assisted living facility. They were polite and respectful. Would definitely use these guys again.

We only had to move two items from one house to another about 100 feet apart, but these were items we could not do on our own because they were so heavy and down a steep flight of stairs. These guys did the job in less than an hour and were so friendly and in good spirits, as they move these big, he...

My family and I used Hired Hands for a long-distance move in the northeast. The movers were a great group of guys and a pleasure to work with. A few problems/changes were encountered along the way, but we were contacted by the movers and even the leadership team who kept us informed and asked how th...

Had a smooth and easy experience moving a piano and other large pieces of furniture from garage to storage. Clear communication, on time and respectful workers.

Movers came on time, did a great job packing and loading. Arrived on time, unloaded carefully. They listened to changes, and did everything I asked. Very efficient too. My moving company had cancelled the day before the more, so I was so so grateful that Hired Hands could help us! Hired Hands price...

Movers arrived on time and were thoughtful throughout the move—packing and unloading carefully, and taking extra care with our electronics. Great communication and professionalism. Highly recommend.

Very inexperienced. Came without proper equipment for moving. Overpriced especially given their extreme lack of experience. Added a $175 charge for a truck I know costs $29 to rent.

I had a hard quote from hired hands. But on the day, they didn't show up. I called them; they didn't answer. I called them again. No answer. Then they texted--they had a LABOR shortage, could we reschedule at a discount? But I tried to reschedule--they never responded. So BAD! DO NOT USE

These gentlemen were simply SPECTACULAR. From the initial call, the estimate, the responsiveness and then the actual move. Thomas and Willie were all that --they took great care of all the things and hands down the best moving experience I've ever had (and as retired military--I've moved A LOT. t...

Hired Hands was definitely one of the cheapest options. They provided movers who were college students. They were very nice and very conscientious but these were not huge hulking dudes. My only complaint is from the management side. We weren't told when the movers would be arriving and when I tried...

I have been appalled at the service I received and am shocked by this. I hired them to pack my large moving truck to go to move accross states. Two men showed up 30 minutes late, they packed the truck horrendously taking no care of fragile things and leaving a giant hole in the middle of the truck,...

TERRIBLE booked in January for Tuesday May 31 move out for son's apartment. A week before they tried to move it to Monday (Memorial Day?) or Wednesday- couldn't do that, had to get back to a job, so they said they could keep it Tuesday. Day before at 12:16 pm email me they can't do it Tuesday, Thur...

Here's the thing. The guys who actually came to do the move? They did a great job. Really impressed with how well they did. They are not the reason for the one star review. This move was scheduled weeks in advance. There were follow up calls and emails to confirm as we got closer. Yet on the day of t...

Second time hiring them was a much better experience. They were early, wearing company shirts, better at planning and bringing supplies. Only bad thing was they never introduced themselves with names, but they were efficient and friendly.

So many mixed feelings on this company. They respond to emails quickly but the phone extension on their emails redirects to another student moving company. They quoted six hours and a giant truck but only took two hours and could've used 6 less feet on the truck. The pictures on here show company...

THEY NEVER SHOWED. THEY JUST... NEVER SHOWED UP.We scheduled Hired Hands to pack our apartment into a U-haul truck for 2pm on a Sunday. We were driving to Boston the next morning. 3pm rolled around, and we started worrying. We could not get anybody on the phone or on email. We got a call at 1pm THE...

After hearing about some of the questionable practices from the more established movers in Ithaca, I went with Hired Hands for my move from Ithaca to Manhattan. The rates were far less than any other quote I received, but with no recommendations at all from anyone, personal or otherwise, I was a bi...
